Lady Madonna

Check out this Time article. Nothing new, but it's an interesting compilation of facts and stories.
I wonder what the connection is between the ideas in this article and the fact that women seem to have an easier time listening to their baby cry (during sleep training, for example) than their husbands do. Ideas?

    This was a thought provoking article. It's interesting how connected this all is since women are already, typically, in charge of food in a househole and we're seeing the links between a food revolution and better health thus a possibly new approach to healthcare and even government. It also reminds me of this wonderful organization a friend pointed me toward: http://www.girleffect.org/ - the premise is that girls are the movers and shakers in their families and communities when it comes to this kind of thing, let's make sure they all have the tools they need.
